Hello everyone!
It's time again to put together the Spring Semester Baby shower for the single and pregnant girls of Embrace Grace.
This semester we have 19 girls in our class.
* all between 16-23 years old (most around 18 or 19)
* 8 are still in high school
* 18 year old pregnant with twin girls
* some are "dating" their baby daddies
* the rest are totally alone
* 17 are keeping their babies
* 2 are making the courageous decision to sacrifice their body for 9 months to save their baby's life and bless another family that have fervently prayed for their miracle baby
But they all have 1 thing in common ... HOPE. They have been hand-picked by God for such a time as this, to turn their life around. In the words of one of our sweet alumni, "God gave me this baby to save my life."
We have a special event to bless a girl with items that they need for their baby at a big group baby shower and we have it scheduled for Sunday, March 20th at 2:00 pm at Paradise Cove at Lake Grapevine. We are in need of groups to "adopt a girl" and buy designated items that they need and bring wrapped to the baby shower. It will be a time of celebration for the life they are carrying and that they chose to save in spite of their circumstances and it being unplanned.
We are in need of groups or individuals to help purchase gifts for the shower :-)
If your group is small, we can give you a partial list and split with another small group. If your group is large, you can have an entire list (or if your group is HUGE, we can give you 2!). Or if you are an individual and not part of a group and still would like to help, we can give you some options to purchase for a girl.
Also for the girls choosing adoption, we give them individual "Celebrations of Life" parties and we shower them with items to give them a fresh start after they have their baby and bless another family. One of the girls is due in May and another is due in July so they will be later in the summer but let us know if you would like to help with that as well.

We are excited about what God is doing already in these girls - we have had 1 salvation already!
